The sun is shining, it is Friday – so as good a day as any to duck out of the working week a bit early – and all roads lead to the Herefordshire Gold Club at Wormsley.
Tom Ammonds has been busy (very busy!) organising the supporters club golf day which will raise funds for the club and for Help for Heroes.
Around 25 teams of four are expected to tee it up at Wormsley where they will be playing for prizes that Tom has been working hard to get together over the last few weeks.
We will publish a list of winners and also those who have kindly sponsored the event as soon as the information comes to hand from Tom but to be fair he has been a bit busy of late…
At the last count, he had also managed to get 16 of the 18 holes sponsored, while there were a number of attractive auction items on offer, so Tom was hopeful the day would prove beneficial to both the club and what everyone would agree is an extremely worthwhile charity.
More details and hopefully some photos as and when we get them – I just have to try and justify how I can get to Wormsley as part of my working day… but good luck to all concerned.
