Penparcau have won the Spar Mid Wales League after a 3-1 win at Dolgellau on Tuesday 4 May.

‘Arky went into the game needing only a point to finally see off the challenge of Rhayader Town and so they achieved their aim with a bit to spare.

Penparcau have now completed their league programme and are currently five points clear of second-placed Rhayader Town who have only one game to play.

Congratulations also to Llansantffraid Village who won the League Cup after a 2-1 victory over Bow Street – the Village reportedly scored twice in the first five minutes and then held off a spirited Bow Street after the break.

There are two matches in the Spar Mid Wales League this evening – Llanrhaeadr host Dyffryn Banw while Llansantffraid Village will head to Newtown Reserves.

Meanwhile, in the Mid Wales League (South), in addition to CP Llanandras’ 2-1 defeat at Rhayader Town Reserves, Talgarth Town were 5-2 home winners over Sennybridge.

Tonight, Llandrindod Wells Colts will host Hay St Marys Reserves.
