First team to round off their league season

Tim Broome expects to be at full strength for the Llanfyllin game

Apologies for the delay in getting the match preview for tonight’s game up on the site but this was down to the serious shortage of electricity that has hit the Presteigne and Norton area for much of the morning – so this report is  brought to you in association with Central Networks.

The first team will take on Llanfyllin Town at Llanandras Park this evening in what will be their final match of the Spar Mid Wales League season.

The game was originally due to be played on Saturday afternoon but was switched to the Friday night at Llanfyllin’s request so as not to clash with the FA Cup final.

Llanfyllin will arrive as the league’s bottom side with only two league wins this season and no doubt Tim Broome and his players will be very keen to ensure that record is not improved on in any way tonight.

There is a more detailed preview of the game on the first team page of the site while it is hoped to have a match report up at some stage on Saturday 15 May (either before or after the cup final…).

The match preview for CP Llanandras’ final league match of the Mid Wales League (South) season is also up on their page of the site, while a preview of the Reserves’ Sparey Cup final against Hay St Marys Reserves has also been posted on their page.

Tonight’s match at Llanandras Park is due to kick off at 7.30pm.
