Presteigne Reserves will play the club’s final home match of the season on Saturday 22 May when they will take on Knighton Town at Llanandras Park.

Barry Williams’ side will be clear favourites going into the match as they have a record of only one league defeat in their last 12 outings while Knighton Town have blown hot and cold in recent weeks.

Their most recent success came in the week when they ended any lingering Rhosgoch Rangers title hopes by beating Rhos 2-1 on their own ground.

The visitors were well beaten at home last weekend when CP Llanandras left Bryn-y-Castell with a 4-1 victory.

There is a detailed preview of the game up on the Reserves page of the site and it is hoped to have a match report up there at some stage either on Saturday night or on Sunday.

The kick off at Llanandras Park will be at 2.30pm and admission prices for the game will be £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for senior citizens and youngsters under the age of 16.

Meanwhile, CP Llanandras are due to head to Radnor Valley on Sunday 23 May for the Les Dickerson Cup final – more details on this game later in the day when I track down ‘Crowie’ for the relevant information.
