Presteigne Reserves’ manager Andy Crowe has put the finishing touches to his pre-season programme as he prepares for another Mid Wales League (South) season.
‘Crowie’ has been looking for fixtures over the last week or so and says he is now pretty happy with the line up of warm-up games.
“We have managed to sort out three games in the build up to the season,” he said.
“We will open up with a home game against Pencombe on Saturday 31 July before we head to Dore Valley for an away match on Wednesday 4 August,” he said.
“Then we will play Lads Club at Llanandras Park as part of the double-header with the first-team game that will be on the same day,” he added.
Andy Crowe is still interested in strengthening the squad and says he is aware there are a lot of players around who are yet to commit to any club for the coming season.
“Any players interested in playing for Presteigne Reserves this season should contact me as soon as possible,” he said.
“After we have played the pre-season friendly games we will have possibly one or two training sessions prior to the first league game which will be away on Saturday 14 August.
“All players and supporters should be aware of my intention to be competitive from day one.”
