Presteigne St Andrews’ first team went down 4-2 in their pre-season friendly at Llandrindod Wells on Saturday 31 July.

While there are not too many details available yet it is hoped to have more information on the game in the next day or so as and when I get them.

But in the meantime, many thanks to Paula Bufton for supplying me with the photo of the game at the Broadway.

Meanwhile, the Reserves got their pre-season friendly programme off to a winning start when they ran out 2-0 victors over Pencombe at Llanandras Park.

Tom Gibbs was the man of the moment as he reportedly netted both of the goals that ensured ‘Crowie’s’ side enjoyed a productive afternoon.

There will be two more friendly games on Wednesday 4 August in which the first team will take on Ewyas Harold at Llanandras Park while the Reserves will head to Dore Abbey.

More details on the squads for these games will be posted on the site as soon as they come to hand, while the first team match will kick off at 7.30pm.
