In addition to Presteigne St Andrews’ opening game at Builth Wells this evening, there six other matches in the Spar League first division.
Possibly the game of the night – on paper at least – will be at Carno where Berriew will be the visitors. Both sides scored four on the opening day and it has the look of a decent fixture. Meanwhile, Bow Street will fancy their chances of a home win against Dolgellau.
Defending champions Penparcau will look to get their season off and running but could well find visiting Tywyn Bryncrug a decent test. Llansantffraid Village, who beat ‘arky at the weekend will head to Dyffryn Banw.
Elsewhere, Newbridge will look to bounce back from their 4-0 opening-day defeat when they will host Llanidloes Town while Waterloo Rovers will have home advantage for their match against Llanrhaeadr.
There are no second division matches scheduled for this evening.
In Tuesday night’s Mid Wales League (South) action, Newcastle were the big winners of the night when they came away from Radnor Valley with an 8-0 victory.
Rhayader Town Reserves were 5-2 home winners over Builth Wells Reserves, while Newbridge Reserves made it four points from six when they came away from St Harmon with a 5-2 success.
Talgarth Town Reserves followed up their 7-0 success over Presteigne Reserves at the weekend with a 2-0 victory at Sennybridge.
