Presteigne St Andrews produced their best performance of the season so far, but they still bowed out of the Welsh Cup at the first hurdle when they were beaten 3-0 in their second qualifying round tie at Ammanford Town.
Barry had no fewer than nine players unavailable for the trip to south Wales where they ran into an Ammanford side that is clearly determined to go places this season.
They are reportedly fielding a number of ex-League of Wales players as they look to climb through the leagues in the south Wales set up.
Barry says his makeshift side played really well under the circumstances but they eventually fell to three second-half goals.
