The match reports from the weekend games involving the both first team and the Reserves are up online on the teams’ respective pages on the site.
First-team manager Barry Williams admitted he was ‘speechless’ that his side had failed to take anything from the home match against Llansantffraid Village on Saturday as they more than played their part in what was an entertaining game at Llanandras Park.
As for the Reserves, their boss Andy Crowe admits his side ‘lost it’ during the second half of their 5-1 defeat at Newcastle in the Mid Wales League (South) and says they have to learn from the experience – and quickly as there are tough games coming up.
‘Crowie’ felt the team was victim of more than a few curious decisions by the referee and, while he had few complaints about the overall result, he felt the margin might well have been tighter.
Both sides will have to put last weekend’s defeats behind them quickly as both face tough-looking games on Saturday 16 October – the first team will head to Penparcau in the Spar Mid Wales League first division while the Reserves will try to put a dent in the 100 percent record of Mid Wales League (South) leaders Rhayader Town Reserves when they meet at Llananadras Park.
Full previews of both games will appear on the site towards the end of this week.
