Presteigne Reserves produced an excellent display to comprehensively outplay Penybont Athletic in a 9-0 victory at Llanandras Park on Wednesday 7 October.
A full match report will appear on the Reserves page of the site, but they were 5-0 up at the inteval, while Callum Matthews scored a second-half hat-trick as the Reserves played some of their best football of the season so far.
Tom Watkins scored twice, while there were also goals for Danny Ives, Ryan Sparey, Alan Stocker and Nigel Duggan.
Manager Barry Williams missed the match so Phil Parker took over on the line and you can only assume what, when he reports back, it can only be complimentary as the movement and passing was generally excellent throughout.
The Reserves will return to action on Saturday 10 October when they will head to Rhosgoch Rangers for a Mid Wales League (South) Cup tie.
