Second-placed Tywyn Bryncrug, who remained in second place after the 1-1 draw at Presteigne last week face another trip to Powys as they head to Hay St Marys.
Rhayader Town have started well this season and they will be confident of adding to their points tally when they head to Caersws Reserves, while Waterloo Rovers will be most people’s favourites to prevail in their home game against Dyffryn Banw.
Newbridge will face a tough test at home to Bow Street, who will still be smarting from their home defeat last weekend, while Aberystwyth University will be chasing their first league points at home to Llanfyllin Town.
Elsewhere, Llanrhaedr will host Dolgellau, while Llansantfraidd Village travel to Carno.
It is League Cup first round day in the Mid Wales League (South) with the majority of sides involved, including Presteigne Reserves, who head to Rhosgoch Rangers.
There are three league matches, with CP Llanandras looking to put a dent in Llandrindod Wells’ title ambitions on the John Beddoes School field, while both Talgarth sides have league games.
Talgarth Town head to Builth Wednesdays, while Talgarth Rovers could do their neighbours a favour by beating visiting Hay St Marys Reserves.
