Presteigne St Andrews will head to Penparcau on Saturday 10 October for their preliminary-round tie in the Spar Mid Wales League Cup.
Glen Tolley will miss out due to suspension, but Danny Tolley and Ian Havard should return, while Luke Hicks may well also feature after the back injury he sustained against Tywyn Bryncrug proved not to be as serious as feared.
Manager Tim Broome has not ruled out bringing in a new player for the match, but this is yet to be confirmed.
The Reserves are also in League Cup action – they travel to Rhosgoch Rangers for their match in the Mid Wales League (South) knockout competition.
Barry Williams expects to select from largely the same squad that put nine unanswered goals past Penybont Athletic at Llanandras Park on Wednesday night, although they could be without Alan Stocker due to work commitments and will definitely be without the holidaying Spencer Napolitano.
CP Llanandras will be in league action – they will host Llandrindod Wells on the John Beddoes School field and will look to emulate the Reserves when they took on Spa back in August. Barry Wlliams’s side remains the only team to have beaten Llandrindod in the league this season.
There are detailed previews of all three of these matches on the respective pages on this site and it’s hoped to have match reports up on Sunday or Monday.
A reminder that the Under 18s are due back at Llanandras Park on Monday 12 October when they will host Ludlow Town.. enjoy the weekend, and good luck to all of our sides!
