The Under 18s are back in action on Monday 12 October when they will take on Ludlow Town at Llanandras Park when the kick off will be at 7.30pm.
Manager Trevor Gummer will be looking for a tighter defensive display from his side after the highly-eventful 7-4 defeat at Leominster Town in their last HFA Floodlit Youth League outing a week ago.
Callum Matthews is in a rich vein of form in front of goal – he scored four times in that game, while he was also on target in the Under 18s last home match against Westfields, as well as netting a hat-trick for the Reserves in their recent 9-0 home win over Penybont Athletic.
Ludlow Town were struggling early on in the season when there was some doubt as to whether they would be able to field a side in the league, but fortunately they appear to have overcome those early problems.
They finally opened their league programme on Thursday 8 October when they went down 1-0 at home to Pegasus Juniors – a decent effort against the defending league champions who were 3-1 winners at Llanandras Park on 21 September.
All support for the Under 18s would be welcome – admisson prices are adults £2.00 and concessions £1.00.
