Llanrhaeadr at Llanandras and the Ressies at Radnor

Presteigne St Andrews FC
Barry Williams (right) will be without Tom Ammonds (left) due to injury

Weather permitting, we should finally get some football again this weekend when the first team will entertain Llanrhaeadr in a Spar Mid Wales League first division match at Llanandras Park while the Reserves will head to Radnor Valley.

Barry admits to having a host of injury concerns – goalkeeper Luke Brimfield is sidelined for some time with a thigh injury while Danny Ives is also out with a knee injury.

Tom Ammonds will also miss the game – after opting to remain with Presteigne St Andrews rather than move to Rhayader he has picked up a suspected broken toe in an incident in the friendly match against Builth Wells on Tuesday 1 February.

There is some better news in that a couple of players are available again – all the details can be found in the match preview that is on the first team page – click on the ‘First Team’ tab at the top of the page.

Manager Andy Crowe knows he will have to supply at least a couple of players to the first-team squad so will be waiting until Barry Williams has made his selection before finalising his squad for the game.

Again, there is a detailed preview of the Ressies’ match at Radnor Valley on their page of the site, so click on the ‘Reserves’ tab at the top of the page and fill your boots…

If you are going to either game, then please take a few pictures with a digital camera and then email them into the site for use in the match reports which will be up online on either Sunday 6 or Monday 7 February.
