The weekend is almost upon us, and that can mean only one thing – football – sorry, dear, of course I meant: ‘can mean only two things – football and beer’.
To this end, the match previews for both the first-team game at Llanidloes Town and the Reserves’ home match against Newcastle are up on the team’s respective pages on the site – simply click on the relevant tab at the top of the page and you will be taken there.
Injuries and unavailability are likely to prove a major hinderance to first-team manager Barry Williams as he prepares to take his side to a Llani side that has adapted very well to life at Spar League Division One level this season.
Tom Ammonds will face a fitness test to see if he can figure in the match while Rob Williams is back from suspension, but Barry faces being without a number of leading figures for this one.
This will clearly impact on Reserve-team boss Andy Crowe as he prepares for the visit of a useful-looking Newcastle side to Llanandras Park for a Mid Wales League (South) game.
‘Crowie probably won’t know the final make up of his side until either late on Friday night or Saturday morning as he is clearly dependent on the numbers needed by the first team.
If you are going to either game, then please take a few photos and then email them into the website for use in the match reports that should appear online at some stage on either Sunday 13 or Monday 14 February.
