Presteigne St Andrews and Presteigne Reserves are both due to be in action this weekend and previews of their matches can be found on the team’s respective pages of this site.

Presteigne St Andrews might be bottom of the Spar Mid Wales League with only one league victory so far this season, but they head to Dyffryn Banw looking for a league double after a 3-1 home win over tomorrow’s opponents when the sides met at Llanandras Park back in October.

Manager Barry Williams again has a few selection problems with Tom Ammonds and Rob Williams among those players unavailable for this one, but Darren Preece and Bobby Bird are among those due to return.

If you are heading up to Dyffryn Banw but are not quite sure where you are going, then there are directions to the game towards the bottom of the match preview – so click on the ‘First Team’ tab at the top of the page and all will be revealed.

I add in the rider here that I have shamelessly lifted the directions from the Dyffryn Banw website – let’s face it, they ought to know where they are – but if they are wrong, then don’t blame me.  Well, you can do, but I won’t take any notice..

As for the Reserves, there should be no problem finding their game tomorrow – they will be at Llanandras Park to take on a Sennybridge side that is struggling towards the foot of the Mid Wales League (South) table.

The ‘bridge have won only twice in the league so far this season, but Andy Crowe and his side will be taking nothing for granted – after all, they won’t need reminding of their Mid Wales League Cup exit at St Harmon.

Kick off at the Theatre of Dreams that is Llanandras Park will be at 2.30pm and let’s hope there is a decent crowd down there so as to keep me busy as our esteemed chairman has realised I am a rare Saturday off so has collared me to do the gate – happy days.

Match reports should be up online at some stage on either Sunday 20 or Monday 21 February – or as soon as I can glean the necessary information from those who have it.
