Committee, cups and catherine wheels….

Ok, a bit of a tenuous title for an update, but it has never stopped me before and it was the best I could manage on a Monday morning….

Committee members are reminded there is a meeting at 7.30pm this evening (Monday 2 November) at the Football Club.

Among a host of things that will no doubt be appearing on the agenda are the final arrangements for the club’s bonfire and firework display.  There are more details on this on the Social Events page of the site.

If you are available to help out the committee members with the firework display on Saturday evening then please speak to either Alan Randell or anyone else on the committee.  This is an important fundraiser for the club so all offers of assistance would be appreciated.

As for the cups – if you are a CP Llanandras player, then please be aware that you are due to play your Alfred Sparey Cup first round tie against Leominster Town Reserves on Sunday 22 November when the kick off on the John Beddoes School field will be at 2.00pm.

The draw has been made for the first round of the Bucknell Cup and Presteigne Reserves have been handed a home tie against Penybont (I am assuming it is Penybont United, rather than Athletic).

CP Llanandras are due to travel to Hinton Reserves for their first-round tie with both matches being due to be played on or before Sunday 29 November.   Confirmation of the actual dates will be posted on the site as soon as I have spoken to both our managers and those of the opposing clubs.
